Barrier Decision
decision taking a long time because of the continued addition of new conditions or barriers
Behavioral Management
management system that recognizes the human social needs in the workplace
Behavioral Reactions
Changes in a person’s actions as a result of stress
Behavior Modification
influencing behavior through the use of positive or negative reinforcement techniques
Belonging Needs
the need to be with other people and the need to find a mate
Boundary Control
a worker’s responsibility for primary and secondary tasks needed to complete work
Brain writing
An individual listing as many solutions or ideas as possible
Brainstorming
a group generating as many solutions or ideas as possible
Bribes
Things such as money or favors offered to a person in a position of trust to influence that person’s views or conduct
Buck Passing
passing a problem along to someone else
Buck-Passing Decisions
decisions passed along to another person
Burnout
The complete exhausting of a person’s physical and intellectual resources caused by excessive efforts to attain certain unrealistic, job-related goals
