 Abdication
passing authority to others
Absenteeism

Defense mechanism people employ in order to attempt to cope with stress
Ad Hoc Committee
a committee established to handle a specific situation that dissolves after the task is accomplished

the nature of what is artistically beautiful or pleasing
Affective Emotional Decision
decision based on sentiment, instinct, gut reaction, or a similar subjective criterion
Affective Reactions
Reactions arising from emotions rather than from conscious thoughts
Affiliation
being with other people who share your interests and values
Affirmative Action
A program designed to create greater equity in employment
Algorithm
a procedure and specific set of instructions for solving a certain problem
Alternative
the consequences of not resolving a conflict
Ambient
surroundings, as in the surrounding temperature
Amnesia
forgetting about decisions one does not like
Angry Emotional Decision
decision based on feelings of rage or hostility
Antisynergy
groups producing less than if the group members had worked alone
Appeal to a Higher Authority
skipping over someone and going to a higher ranking person
Approval
official consent or confirmation
A Remembered Pain
an unpleasant or unjust event, real or perceived, that is often passed down from the people originally involved to newcomers
Assertiveness
demanding or ordering others to comply
Attitude
a state of mind or a feeling; a person’s disposition
Autonomy
freedom to make decisions; the ability to work without supervision; the level of control people have over their work
Authority
having the power or the ability to command resources in order to achieve results
Authority Principle
managers have the right to direct workers toward the accomplishment of the organization’s goals
Autonomy
the ability of a worker to perform his or her job independently or with minimal supervision
Autonomy
the freedom workers have to perform tasks and control their work

The above list of vocabulary is found in my educational records.
These meanings were learned at one of my classes, which was "Organizational Behavior."
