World Cup 2010 (Day One)
This morning at about 9 a.m. (Chicago time), the World Cup 2010 has begun at the strong and beautiful heel of the giant footprint on earth, with a speech from South African president. I have been watching the events on ESPN. Among the audience, I also saw our vice-president, Joe Biden.
The first match was played between Mexico, a strong team of North America and South Africa, the host of the cup. It was a drawn match with one goal per each other. South African team made a power play, but in strategy and ball-control, Mexicans had more.
France and Uruguay played as the second match at about 1:30 p.m. With nothing to each other, it was also a drawn. French made much more attacks as they had many strikers, than Uruguayans but Uruguayans also had a good defense with strong players.
Since I have not been available to watch most of soccer matchers for years, I do not know about the current standings and players’ conditions of all those selection teams. Both matches were good to watch, and I have highly expectation to see better matches with classic and powerful plays.
Special Thanks to the first proud World-Cup-Host in African Land, and all qualified teams and classic players of our planet!!!
