World Cup 2010 (Day Seventeen)

Today, England and Germany play as the first match. Germany wins with 4:1. The second goal, which is truly goaled by Lampard in 38' becomes the controvertial. Before the match, it was windy and rain here and TV connection was often off and on. So, I did not have chance to watch well for the whole match.

The second match is played by Argentina and Mexico. Argentina wins with 3:1. The second goal of Argentina also becomes a controvertial one because of obvious position of offside of the Argentinian goal maker.

More great matches are ahead to watch. Thanks!

World Cup 2010 (Day Sixteen)

The first match of the last 16 is played by Uruguay and South Korea. Uruguay wins with 2:1 and going to the quarter final. (I did not watch this match because I had to go to work. I will critique later, after I watch these games back in my recorded tapes. Thanks.)

The second match of today is played between the United States and Ghana. I wanted the U.S. team to win, but, at the same time, I truly and heartly have my passion for Ghana, too, because they are only one African team to reach for this stage in the game, which hosted in African soil. By the way, the result is, Ghana wins with 2:1. I truly hope the national team of the United States will be much better in structure, training, and stretegy in coming years or in coming international games. The strong point of the U.S. team is the spirit. I feel that the players need to have better ball-control, position, and stretegic structure. Team of Ghana has better qualities in those things than we have. And yet, they are strong and quick in both of offensive and defensive. But you know what, we are one of the best teams in the world! We were one of the last sixteen! We supposed to be proud of it and congratulations all players of our national team!

Great games are ahead to watch. Thanks everybody for everything!!!

World Cup 2010 (Day Fourteen)

Today’s first matches are played between Slovakia and Italy, Paraguay and New Zealand. Paraguay and New Zealand make drawn match with 0:0. Slovakia wins on Italy with 3:2. So, from this Group F, Paraguay and Slovakia are going into the club of the last 16. It is sad for Italy, which has worth of tradition in soccer field, and one of the best teams in the world. It is strange for New Zealand that they have to leave early from the tournament without any win or any lose. All three matches are drawn. See you in 2014!

The second matches of today are played between Japan and Denmark, Netherland and Cameroon. Japan wins with 3:2 on Denmark, and Netherland wins on Cameroon with 2:1. Therefore, from this group E, Netherland and Japan are going to the next round. Japanese team is getting much better. Probably, they are the best team among Asians. Congratulations! Sorry for Cameroon and Denmark; see you in 2014!

World Cup 2010 (Day Thirteen: June 23, 2010)

The first two matches are played between Slovenia and England, USA and Algeria. England wins with 1:0 result, and USA also wins with 1:0. Therefore, from the group of C, we, the national team of USA, and as well as England goes into the 16 last teams of the tournament. I watched the game of USA, so I did not have chance to watch the England’s game. Any way, it is incredible and dramatic goal, which Landon Donovan makes at 90+ minutes approves that the United States is one of the best soccer teams in the world. Congratulations to teams of USA and England.

The second matches are played between Ghana and Germany, Australia and Serbia. Germany wins with 1:0, and Australia wins with 2:1 on Serbia. From this group D, Germany and Ghana are going into the last 16 ring. Congratulations to team of Germany, former world cup champions and especially to Ghana, which is only African team that is joining with the last 16 club. It is sad for teams of Australia, Serbia, Algeria and Slovenia for leaving early from the tournament, but they are one of 32 qualified teams in the world.

World Cup 2010 (Day Twelve)

Today, there are four matches.

The first two matches those played at the same time at 9:00 AM are between France and South Africa; Mexico and Uruguay. South Africa wins with 2:1 on France. Uruguay wins on Mexico with 1:0. It is sad that both of former champian with many top playes, and the host nation's team left the game early. Try in 2014! That could be the time.

The second two matches are played by Nigeria and South Korea; Argentina and Greece. Nigeria and S. Korea make a drawn match with 2:2. Giant of the world cup games, Argentina wins on Greece with 2:0. It is also sad for former Euro champian, Greece and one of the best in Africa, Nigeria to be leaving the game early. See you in 2014! That could be your time.

Now, Uruguay and Mexico from group A, Argentina and South Korea from Group B are coming up to the next stage. Congratulations!

World Cup 2010 (Day Eleven: June 21, 2010)

(Yesterday, I slept early and I forgot to post this.)

There are three matches on this day: between Portugal and North Korea; Spain and Honduras; Chili and Switzerland.

Portugal make a record with 7:0 win on N. Korea. According to commentators in ESPN, this is the second highest goals in one match of the world cup history and the highest goals those happened in history was - Germany's win with 8 goals on Swede Arabia. In today's match, among the seven goals, the most beautiful goal is made by Ronaldo, team captain of Portugal.

Spain wins on Honduras with 2:0. Spanish team is getting better.

Chili wins on Switzerland with 1:0. Both teams are playing well, actually.

So far, so good, World Cup!

At the second match, Italy play with New Zealand. I do not watch this match but recorded in my DVD player. (I will watch it later.) The result is drawn with 1:1.

As the third match, Brazil nad Cote d' Ivore play. I do not watch because I was working this time and the result is Brazil win with 3:1.

Happy Father’s Day!

This morning, I got some presents for Happy Father’s Day from my family; a new belt and an iPod from my wife, two pictures from my little daughters, Mahla and KaiSein, and one handmade birdfeeder from my big boy, Izana.

Two pictures from my little daughters are about playing soccer, goal, soccer ball, and those kinds of staffs. A birdfeeder, which is Izana’s handmade, has a bird that is an eagle. It also has a picture of George Washington, which he drew. It is very interesting.

Right now, my wife is downloading listening staffs from podcasts section of iPod store. This gonna be a big toy for me.

Special Thanks to my lovely family and I truly wish all other fathers to receive what they want on this father’s day.

Happy Father’s Day!!!

Happy Birthday Daw Su!

Happy Birthday Daw Su!
We all love you!
We all simply but deeply trust in you!
We all honestly respect on your faith!
Not just the history of the world, but by the Universal Law, one day, the truth must be conqueror!!!

My youngest daugher is now about two and half years old. I was talking with my wife yesterday that when General Aung San died, Daw Su was about my little one's age.

As you are standing with faith, honesty and strength, people of Burma and its history also will never forget you.

We all are absolutely with you! Even we all died, our spirits will be with you!

Happy Birthday Daw Su!!

World Cup 2010 (Day Nine)

Netherland and Japan play as the first game of today. Japanese can play well but Netherland is stronger and have better ball-position, skill and experience. Netherland wins with 1:0. The team of Dutch is now obviously going into the second round because they also won to Denmark with 2:0 in the first game.

Australia and Ghana play as the second match. The match is drawn with 1:1. Australians are little better than the former match with Germany. I think Ghana is in the first place of hope among African teams, till now. We will see about the results of Cote D Ivory team, which has today’s top players on earth.

Cameroon and Denmark play as the third match. Cameroon makes goal first, but Denmark also make one back during the first half. The first half is finished with 1:1. During the second half, Danish team makes their second goal.

World Cup 2010, so far so good (to watch)! Thanks all!

World Cup (Day Eight)

Germany and Serbia play as the first game. Germany is really strong, but it is surprisingly enough that Serbia wins with 1:0.

As the second game of today, Slovenia and the United States play. It was a drawn match with 2:2. The third goal, which the U.S. makes, becomes controversial.

The third game is played between England and Algeria. England is also strong and has much better ball-position than Algeria. While my friends and I were talking yesterday about the team of England does not have good enough goal-keeper, James is good goal-keeper on today’s match. The result is 0:0.

With an expectation, both of the U.S. and England teams those had 2 drawn matches per each so far, have chances to go for the next round, at least.

World Cup (Day Seven: June 17, 2010)

(I forgot to post this yesterday.)

Argentina and South Korea play for the first game. Argentina win with 4:1. Back number 9 Argentinean player leads the winning goals.

Greece and Nigeria play as the second. Greece wins with 2:1 of result. So far, I think Ghana is only winning African team.

As the third, France and Mexico play. Our neighbor makes a win with 2:0. According to the commentators, this is the first time that Mexico wins on France in the world cup history.

World Cup 2010 (Day Six)

Honduras and Chili play as the first. Chili wins with 1:0. Chili has better ball-position and structure than Honduras.

Spain and Switzerland play as the second match of today. Switzerland wins with 1:0. Except making goal, Spain team has better in every count, from ball-position to structure. The only thing, which makes team of Spain to not to be able making goal, could be ‘luck.’ Dozens of goals they shot. Just do not go through. Next game, I highly expect they will have great success.

The host, South Africa and Uruguay play as the third game for today. It is sad that South Africa lose to Uruguay with 0:2. Hopefully, for the host, South Africa still have any kind of chance to go for the second round.

World Cup (Day Five)

Early this morning (afternoon in South Africa), Slovenia and New Zealand play as the first match for the day. 1:1. Slovenia make goal first and New Zealand make goal just before the game has finished (in the last minute). Interesting thing is that both goals are made by headings of players from both sides.

The second match is played between Ivory Coast and Portugal. 0:0. Both team has current top players in the world. It is a good match to watch but nobody can make any goal in the whole 90 minutes. In ball-position, Ivory Coast has little bit better than Portugal (51 % ; 49 %.)

Brazil and North Korea play as the third. 2:1. It is truly interesting match. About 70 minutes of the whole 90 minutes, the ball is in one-third area of North Korea’s side but surprisingly enough, Brazil cannot make any goal in the first-half. Brazil play very slow in pace during the first-half and after 50 minutes later, Brazil’s playing become little faster. The first goal is made by No. 2 player (of Brazil) in 55 minutes. The second goal is made by player No. 7 (Brazil) in 72 minutes. For the goal of North Korea, No. 8 player make in 89 minutes. Ball position could probably be 81 % (Brazil) and 19 % (North Korea), but North Korea make such a good defense with all players. All three goals are made by strike-kicks of players from both teams. You will also find out that goal-making minutes and back-numbers of goal-makers are also very interesting. You do the math!

Therefore, for today, the games starts by headings and ends by kickings.

Better matches are expected to see in the world cup 2010. Thanks!

World Cup 2010 (Day Four)

Denmark and Netherland play as the first game. As it is about 1:30 PM in the afternoon in South Africa, I notice that it was very hot for players from very northern hemisphere. Team of Denmark play nice but they should pay more attention in striking. The first goal is made by own (by no.15 of Danish player.) Netherland plays good. The game was slow in pace and the result was Netherland (2): Denmark (0).

Cameroon and Japan play as the second match. Japanese team play some well in this match. Cameroons should practice for long range giving and taking staffs, I fell. Most of long balls made mistakes often. Averagely, the whole team is still strong. The result was Cameroon (0): Japan (1). The winning goal for Japan is made by the player of no. 18.

Italy and Paraguay play as the third and last match for today. It is another drawn match with 1:1. Italy has better ball position and Paraguay is also good in short shots.

World Cup 2010 (Day Three / June 13, 2010)

(I suppose to do this yesterday, but while I was arranging to post this in my mind, I felt asleep. So, here it is today.)

There were three games yesterday. The first game was played between Algeria and Slovenia. It is difficult to say because I did not watch well. The result was, Algeria (0): Slovenia (1). The second match was played by Serbia and Ghana. Ghana won with 1:0. It was a good game to watch. I was watching this game while I was working and making food. Serbia could play some strongly but Ghana made better team work. Ghana gained a penalty just a few minutes before the match was finished. That penalty goal made Ghanaians to become a winner. The third match was played between Australia and Germany. Germany won with 4:0. Germany had such a good structure with strong and skilled players but Australia is also still strong, as I feel.

World Cup 2010 (Day Two)

This is day two of world cup 2010.
Early in the morning at about 6:30, I watched the first match of today, South Korea Vs. Greece. South Korea won with 2:0. Team of Greece played good, but not powerful enough to make goals on Korea team. Team of South Korea had such a good structure and team-work. They were also good in both of defensive and offensive.
Any way, I always like South Korean fans who are happy, standard, and such fine.
I did not watch the matches of Argentina Vs. Nigeria, and the U.S. and England. The results were Argentina won with 1:0, and it was drawn match 1:1 between the U.S. and England.

Thanks all players and everybody.

World Cup 2010 (Day One)

This morning at about 9 a.m. (Chicago time), the World Cup 2010 has begun at the strong and beautiful heel of the giant footprint on earth, with a speech from South African president. I have been watching the events on ESPN. Among the audience, I also saw our vice-president, Joe Biden.

The first match was played between Mexico, a strong team of North America and South Africa, the host of the cup. It was a drawn match with one goal per each other. South African team made a power play, but in strategy and ball-control, Mexicans had more.

France and Uruguay played as the second match at about 1:30 p.m. With nothing to each other, it was also a drawn. French made much more attacks as they had many strikers, than Uruguayans but Uruguayans also had a good defense with strong players.

Since I have not been available to watch most of soccer matchers for years, I do not know about the current standings and players’ conditions of all those selection teams. Both matches were good to watch, and I have highly expectation to see better matches with classic and powerful plays.

Special Thanks to the first proud World-Cup-Host in African Land, and all qualified teams and classic players of our planet!!!
