This is the Empire State building (with needle, right to the sunshine), which is the tallest building in New York City and second tallest building in North America. The Empire State building was opened in May 1st 1931 and it is also currently World’s 9th tallest building in the world. When it is totally finished its construction in (est.) 2009, the Burj Dubai Tower of Dubai, UAE will become world’s tallest building with its height, 818 m; 2,313 feet.
