World Cup 2010 (Day Twelve)

Today, there are four matches.

The first two matches those played at the same time at 9:00 AM are between France and South Africa; Mexico and Uruguay. South Africa wins with 2:1 on France. Uruguay wins on Mexico with 1:0. It is sad that both of former champian with many top playes, and the host nation's team left the game early. Try in 2014! That could be the time.

The second two matches are played by Nigeria and South Korea; Argentina and Greece. Nigeria and S. Korea make a drawn match with 2:2. Giant of the world cup games, Argentina wins on Greece with 2:0. It is also sad for former Euro champian, Greece and one of the best in Africa, Nigeria to be leaving the game early. See you in 2014! That could be your time.

Now, Uruguay and Mexico from group A, Argentina and South Korea from Group B are coming up to the next stage. Congratulations!

World Cup 2010 (Day Eleven: June 21, 2010)

(Yesterday, I slept early and I forgot to post this.)

There are three matches on this day: between Portugal and North Korea; Spain and Honduras; Chili and Switzerland.

Portugal make a record with 7:0 win on N. Korea. According to commentators in ESPN, this is the second highest goals in one match of the world cup history and the highest goals those happened in history was - Germany's win with 8 goals on Swede Arabia. In today's match, among the seven goals, the most beautiful goal is made by Ronaldo, team captain of Portugal.

Spain wins on Honduras with 2:0. Spanish team is getting better.

Chili wins on Switzerland with 1:0. Both teams are playing well, actually.

So far, so good, World Cup!

At the second match, Italy play with New Zealand. I do not watch this match but recorded in my DVD player. (I will watch it later.) The result is drawn with 1:1.

As the third match, Brazil nad Cote d' Ivore play. I do not watch because I was working this time and the result is Brazil win with 3:1.

Happy Father’s Day!

This morning, I got some presents for Happy Father’s Day from my family; a new belt and an iPod from my wife, two pictures from my little daughters, Mahla and KaiSein, and one handmade birdfeeder from my big boy, Izana.

Two pictures from my little daughters are about playing soccer, goal, soccer ball, and those kinds of staffs. A birdfeeder, which is Izana’s handmade, has a bird that is an eagle. It also has a picture of George Washington, which he drew. It is very interesting.

Right now, my wife is downloading listening staffs from podcasts section of iPod store. This gonna be a big toy for me.

Special Thanks to my lovely family and I truly wish all other fathers to receive what they want on this father’s day.

Happy Father’s Day!!!

Happy Birthday Daw Su!

Happy Birthday Daw Su!
We all love you!
We all simply but deeply trust in you!
We all honestly respect on your faith!
Not just the history of the world, but by the Universal Law, one day, the truth must be conqueror!!!

My youngest daugher is now about two and half years old. I was talking with my wife yesterday that when General Aung San died, Daw Su was about my little one's age.

As you are standing with faith, honesty and strength, people of Burma and its history also will never forget you.

We all are absolutely with you! Even we all died, our spirits will be with you!

Happy Birthday Daw Su!!

World Cup 2010 (Day Nine)

Netherland and Japan play as the first game of today. Japanese can play well but Netherland is stronger and have better ball-position, skill and experience. Netherland wins with 1:0. The team of Dutch is now obviously going into the second round because they also won to Denmark with 2:0 in the first game.

Australia and Ghana play as the second match. The match is drawn with 1:1. Australians are little better than the former match with Germany. I think Ghana is in the first place of hope among African teams, till now. We will see about the results of Cote D Ivory team, which has today’s top players on earth.

Cameroon and Denmark play as the third match. Cameroon makes goal first, but Denmark also make one back during the first half. The first half is finished with 1:1. During the second half, Danish team makes their second goal.

World Cup 2010, so far so good (to watch)! Thanks all!

World Cup (Day Eight)

Germany and Serbia play as the first game. Germany is really strong, but it is surprisingly enough that Serbia wins with 1:0.

As the second game of today, Slovenia and the United States play. It was a drawn match with 2:2. The third goal, which the U.S. makes, becomes controversial.

The third game is played between England and Algeria. England is also strong and has much better ball-position than Algeria. While my friends and I were talking yesterday about the team of England does not have good enough goal-keeper, James is good goal-keeper on today’s match. The result is 0:0.

With an expectation, both of the U.S. and England teams those had 2 drawn matches per each so far, have chances to go for the next round, at least.

World Cup (Day Seven: June 17, 2010)

(I forgot to post this yesterday.)

Argentina and South Korea play for the first game. Argentina win with 4:1. Back number 9 Argentinean player leads the winning goals.

Greece and Nigeria play as the second. Greece wins with 2:1 of result. So far, I think Ghana is only winning African team.

As the third, France and Mexico play. Our neighbor makes a win with 2:0. According to the commentators, this is the first time that Mexico wins on France in the world cup history.

World Cup 2010 (Day Six)

Honduras and Chili play as the first. Chili wins with 1:0. Chili has better ball-position and structure than Honduras.

Spain and Switzerland play as the second match of today. Switzerland wins with 1:0. Except making goal, Spain team has better in every count, from ball-position to structure. The only thing, which makes team of Spain to not to be able making goal, could be ‘luck.’ Dozens of goals they shot. Just do not go through. Next game, I highly expect they will have great success.

The host, South Africa and Uruguay play as the third game for today. It is sad that South Africa lose to Uruguay with 0:2. Hopefully, for the host, South Africa still have any kind of chance to go for the second round.

World Cup (Day Five)

Early this morning (afternoon in South Africa), Slovenia and New Zealand play as the first match for the day. 1:1. Slovenia make goal first and New Zealand make goal just before the game has finished (in the last minute). Interesting thing is that both goals are made by headings of players from both sides.

The second match is played between Ivory Coast and Portugal. 0:0. Both team has current top players in the world. It is a good match to watch but nobody can make any goal in the whole 90 minutes. In ball-position, Ivory Coast has little bit better than Portugal (51 % ; 49 %.)

Brazil and North Korea play as the third. 2:1. It is truly interesting match. About 70 minutes of the whole 90 minutes, the ball is in one-third area of North Korea’s side but surprisingly enough, Brazil cannot make any goal in the first-half. Brazil play very slow in pace during the first-half and after 50 minutes later, Brazil’s playing become little faster. The first goal is made by No. 2 player (of Brazil) in 55 minutes. The second goal is made by player No. 7 (Brazil) in 72 minutes. For the goal of North Korea, No. 8 player make in 89 minutes. Ball position could probably be 81 % (Brazil) and 19 % (North Korea), but North Korea make such a good defense with all players. All three goals are made by strike-kicks of players from both teams. You will also find out that goal-making minutes and back-numbers of goal-makers are also very interesting. You do the math!

Therefore, for today, the games starts by headings and ends by kickings.

Better matches are expected to see in the world cup 2010. Thanks!
