Mind is like a ....
Yesterday, I made a little discussion about the Buddha and Buddhism with a couple of six grader kids.
One of discussions was about our mind.
The Buddha said that for some points, our mind was like a monkey - jumping around, climbing around and checking around with unstability.
For some points, our mind was just like a horse - running around with highest speed from here to there; from there to here.
For some points, our mind was just like a bird that was in a cage - almost always looking for an exit.
It was a good discussion and I will write more about it.
Thanks!

A Race and the Worst Runner ever
Very recently, I have had a race in my dream. Title and main purpose of the race is that – ‘to run together with public.’
In the dream, I was the fastest runner ever in the history of that race. A while after the race has started; I was already miles away from the public. I forgot the rules and principles with some kinds of greed, overly self-beliefs, pride and ignorance, itself. Then, of cause, I crossed the finished line as the first person, while the other guys reached there hours later, after I got there.
The prize that I have received in that race was “The Worst Runner Ever!” You may amaze or may not. I got that prize because of the name and prime goal of that race, which was – “To Run Together With Public.” (I was running by myself! – Shameless!)

Happy New Year Resolution
My Happy New Year resolution for the year of 2011 will be to read or write or do something about the Buddha’s teaching as my personal favorite subject; something about / for Arakan as my native land; and something about the United States / the World as a citizen, each week.
The action will be one of reading something about those subjects, writing something about those matters, or commenting or sharing or posting something as web-page/s.
Thank you and have a Great 2011 for every one!
